BANG 21 is a Bay Area Night
(afterNoon?) Game. Like other BANGs, it's a puzzly treasure hunt
played on foot by small teams along a modest walking course.
When and Where
There will be two playings of BANG 21: Saturday May 2nd and
Sunday May 3rd (exactly 24 hours later).
On both days, team check-in will start at 12:15pm on the patio of the
Burgess
Recreation Center,
701 Laurel
Street, Menlo Park, CA. Events will be underway at 12:45pm,
so please arrive no later than that.
Everything should be over by 6:00pm; you will end up at a restaurant not far
from the start location, where you can get food, hang with the other teams, and
bask in the glory of your victory.
Parking is available at the recreation center and at the adjacent Burgess
Park. The Menlo Park Caltrain station is a short walk from the start.
What to Bring
- Paper, pens/pencils
- Scotch tape and scissors
- Clipboards
- Comfortable walking attire, sunscreen or rain gear (as appropriate), etc.
- One prize per team (value $10-$15) for the prize pool
- There are lots of places to buy snacks and drinks along the route
- You should not need any code references
- You should not need computers or Internet access
